Had the wonderful opportunity to head back to Maryland (my home state) last month for the wedding of Clint and Liz. If you were ever in the indie, underground, emo Maryland scene in the early 2000s then you most likely would’ve heard of Breaking Pangea. Clint was bassist for them with Fred Mascherino (now of Taking Back Sunday and The Color Fred). Clint was good friends with my former band Zella Mayzell and eventually replace me when i decided to move on and move to Kansas City. I was pleased to get the call (thanks Dave’y Cruiser for the referral) earlier this spring about flying out to photograph Clint and Liz at the beautiful Newton White Mansion. Here’s some pound cake…
Josh and I go way back…church youth group, church worship bands, rockbands, MD/DC show scene, Urban Style Lab, the Well-Dressed Burrito, Dupont Circle, etc etc etc….I continually bug him about Red Moon Rising (his band a few years back) getting back together and he continues to bug me about Zella Mayzell (my band a few years back) getting back together. we have that kind of verbal one-ups-manship relationship in the best kind of way. Anyway, the bro met a lady a few years back, the lady fell in love, and they decided to make their vows on the shores of Aberdeen, Maryland (just north of Baltimore).
