It seems like a small world when I met someone in Kansas City who spent most of their lives in Maryland about 15 minutes away from where I grew up! …I met Brian and Michelle Jones here in Kansas City earlier this spring. We hit it off and before we knew it we were talking about a family photo session with their three kids and fourth (which at the time was still in the womb!). A few months passed…Michelle gave birth to a beautiful baby girl…and we planned out our session with the whole family! here’s some bread and butter…

I’ve known Natasha for about 3 years now and Sean for about 2 years. Natasha sang on Luke Wood’s worship team (the team that I play guitar on) and Shawn was Luke’s sound tech for quite a while and still fills in about once or twice a week with our band. These two are so easy to work with and their playfulness allowed for great candid moments in-between some of the set-ups! Sean and “Tiash-tiash” (as I like to call her) are planning a fall wedding locally here in Kansas City and I cant wait to capture their day! (@Shawn – …pound it, explode, implode…) here’s the proof…

Well, i dont have too much to say only because there is too much to say about this family! Luke and Leah have been in full-time ministry at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City for over 5 years! I’ve been an electric guitarist on Luke Wood’s worship team for almost 3 of those years now. These guys are quality through and through. Their son Elliot just turned one and it provided the perfect opportunity to connect for a brief family photo session. What better context than to photograph friends in their backyard after meeting up for coffee! well…do you prefer drip or french press? …ponder it while checking the pics….

I first met Amanda back in 2006 when I moved to Kansas City. We were both taking some summer classes at the International House of Prayer’s bible school (IHOPU). Several years later our paths crossed again once I began serving in IHOP–KC’s Marketing department. I do quite a bit of project management and Amanda works in IHOP–KC’s duplication department…so often I send her projects such as DVDs and CDs that need to be duplicated and ready for shelving in our bookstore. Well, onething led to another and we were eventually talking wedding/engagement photos at the water cooler….here’s the proof…..

I’ve known Matt now for about 2 or so years. He is one of the many worship leader at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City (where I am also on staff and play electric guitar). I connected with Matt last year when IHOP-KC hired me to do some promo and CD artwork photos for Matt and Cory Asbury’s 2008 debut release called “Holy.” We had a great time last year and when Matt got engaged we connected. Matt and Alexia had a beautiful wedding at the Buena Vista Palace Resort down in Orlando, FL. Big shout out to the OHOP crew! check it…
