Josh & Amanda are pretty awesome. We had such an amazing time with their engagement shoot and I was looking forward to their wedding at the beautiful Lodge at Ironwoods. I photographed Zach & Carrie’s wedding at the Lodge almost exactly one year ago and was so excited when Josh & Amanda choose that location as well! The weather held out nicely and it turned to be a beautiful sunny day for an afternoon wedding. Awesome fall colors and awesome people to photograph……….

I had the great privilege of working with Laura Hackett on her debut album self-titled “Laura Hackett.” Her album debuted Monday Nov 2nd and was almost instantly in the iTunes Top 10 most downloaded album chart (Christian Genre). Laura and I talked quite a bit before her shoot and she decided on a strong foliage feel. Eventually they choose to do a layout for her album that was mostly based on photography. She initially released a single (using color photos/artwork) and she chose to use black & white images for her full-length album. Here’s the sizzle…..

and the artwork for the single release……

and lastly, here’s one of the official PR shots…

Kelly and I have long been trying to nail down a date for her 2009 family session. We had initially talked about doing a prego session but opted instead for a family session a couple months after the birth of their second daughter. Instead of taking advantage of the fall colors in KC they gravitated towards a more urban atmosphere…so we headed down to the West Bottoms and snapped away. enjoy…..
