Benji and Lauren are the founders of Exodus Cry, a non-profit ministry and organization dedicated to combatting modern day slavery including human trafficking and sex-slavery. About a year ago I volunteered some time to help get Benji and Lauren’s ministry infrastructure up and running. We spent alot of hours working together over a brief 3-4 months of working together. Eventually my assignment was up and I moved on but still remained friends with the Nolot’s. Now they have a son, Judah….
Another session from sunny Boca Raton, FL last month! I’ve been able to photograph the House Family for a second year now and their boys are bigger, faster, louder, and funner! Is *funner* even a word? …I dunno, but they were funner! I already cant wait for next year’s session!
I met Jared about 3 years ago in Kansas City. He and his family were visiting KC for IHOP-KCs annual onething conference, a gathering of 15,000 young-adults gathering to worship Jesus and receive Bible teaching. Since then our paths have crossed several times in both Kansas City and in his home town of Tallahassee. I was so pleased when Jared asked me to come down to Tallahassee to photograph his wedding. Jared and Karina are both on-staff with IHOP-Tallahassee. We had a great day in north florida. great couple and great family…..
This past November I made my annual trip down to the Ft. Lauderdale area for family photo sessions and some quality time with friends at the Harbour Church, and attended their “Eleven Conference.” This is the third photoshoot I’ve had with Dave and Evelyn. It all started with their wedding and then the past two years it seems that they have added to their family! We had a great time together reconnecting once again in Boca Raton FL for their 2009 session!
I’ve known this couple for several years. Natasha was a long-time singer with Luke Wood’s worship band (the team I play guitar with) and Sean was our full-time front-of-house mixing engineer and still mixes for us once or twice a week. They have the typical “boy-sees-girl on the stage singing” and “girl-sees-boy out in the crowd” love story. It doesn’t happen often like that, but in this case they have the real-deal substance and character behind all the eewy-goooy-mooshy love story! these two are solid through-and-through on every level!
