Dave Sliker was one of the first leaders at the International House of Prayer I connected with when I first moved to Kansas City. I was taking one of his summer classes and we had a few opportunities to chat after his class sessions. In all honesty, I owe Dave alot since he was one of the first leaders to help my wife and I connect to all that was going on at IHOP-KC. That was about 3.5 years ago, and I had the privilege of photographing the Sliker family this past December for a quick indoor session. The bitter cold weather prevented us from going outdoors so I had them come in just before the Panke’s session (see previous post)…..
I’ve known the Panke’s for several years now from different interactions at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. Nathan is a worship leader with IHOP-KC and I worked with Rachel several years back before she was married to Nathan and mother of a little guy. I was delighted to work with them again and this time around Rachel brought along her sister and her family. Although it was too cold to shoot outdoors, we had a great time indoors during this session! I love the brick + cinder block walls….
