I’ve know Caleb for a couple years. We played soccer together around KC and Caleb is also a student at IHOPU which is the Bible School wing of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. This was another winter engagement session…overcast skies provided for some nice soft light and melting snow made the streets nice and shiny. Here’s some pics from their session…

Matt & Desiree are Seniors (4th year students) at IHOPU. I led a small group that Matt was in for a short season last year. Great couple. Unfortunately, I was already booked on their 2010 wedding date, however I was thrilled that they still wanted me to do an engagement session with them despite having to use another photographer for their wedding. Winter photoshoots are always full of surprises…we dodged a few bad weather days and took advantage of a mild day after a recent big snowfall…..since all the snow was melting we took advantage of the super shine on the streets as well as lots of fun puddles (see below). Awesome time with these guys!

I had the privilege of photographing Andy Comiskey for an upcoming book he’s authored and being released by Intervarsity Press. I’ve worked with Andy and the Desert Streams ministry staff several times before for various projects. We just had a few mins for this one and we set up at his office lobby. I forgot to take a set-up pic, but it was a basic strobist set-up blending natural in-direct light and a couple strobes…..
